This is the last project for Flea Market Moxie and I hope you enjoyed it so far. I made a Classic Messenger bag with pretty details using the Paint By Numbers Print from Flea Market Moxie by Cathe Holden for Moda Fabrics. This print is amazing and one of my favorites in the collection. Cathe is a genius (and a lovely person as well). She took her collection of vintage paint by number prints and reimagined into a collage of fabric. Simply stunning.
I used dark brown leather for the sides to add structure and stability as well as quilted the body of the bag. To highlight the vintage style prints, I added antique broderie lace for the pocket details. Sturdy zippers and brass findings make the bag pretty and handsome.
I hope my projects have inspired you to create with Cathe's beautiful collection. It's stunning, unique, and really special.
