Choo Choo Child's Bag and Case - The Little Engine That Could for Riley Blake Designs

Chugga Choo Choo! I'm so excited to share my latest project with you! It's always a joy for me to create children's bags. One of my favorite prints other than florals is children's prints, specifically classic ones. The new collection called The Little Engine That Could, is officially licensed through Riley Blake Designs and is illustrated by my favorite children's illustrator Jill Howarth of Zippyboro. Her take on this classic is adorable, whimsy, and just the right amount of nostalgia to make any child (or adult) happy!

If you know me, I have twins - girl and boy. One always gets jealous of the other, so when I make bags, I now have to make them both one! These prints are perfect for a girl or a boy. The Choo Choo Child's Bag is just the right size for my daughter's little treasure and the Choo Case is perfect for my son's train set. It has a double zipper for easy access for little childs hands. I hope you enjoy my project and this adorable fabric!

The Little Engine That Could is just arriving in stores, so check your favorite quilt shop or online. Thanks for stopping by!

Best wishes,

Jane Austen's Bag - Jane Austen at Home for Riley Blake Designs

Hello! It has been a long while and it feels good to be back sharing my creations with you! I've taken somewhat of a creative break (as I'm sure some of are you as well) and what better way to comeback with this beautiful collection - Jane Austen at Home for Riley Blake Designs. This collection is officially licensed and beautifully reproduced based on Jane Austen's home life. I imagine these lovely floral prints gracing old world tapestries, quilts, wallpaper, and such.  As a fan of Jane Austen, I'm honored to create with this lovely collection. I created "Jane Austen's Bag", dreaming that she once used this bag to hold are her keepsake treasures. I hope you enjoy my project and get inspired to create with the beautiful collection.

Here is what I made:
